Plant Operations Trainer (Full Training Provided)

About the role

This is a site‑based, highly autonomous position delivering practical and classroom training on plant machinery across Berkshire and Oxfordshire. You will work for a specialist construction equipment training business, travelling to customer sites and acting as a technical expert.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver practical and theory‑based plant operations training sessions.
• Operate and demonstrate excavators, dumpers, rollers and other plant equipment during training.
• Carry out CPCS assessments in line with industry standards.
• Support the ongoing development and improvement of training courses.

Required profile

• Level 3 qualification in Plant Operations or equivalent.
• CPCS and/or NPORS licences.
• Recent hands‑on experience operating plant machinery.
• Teaching or training experience, or a willingness to develop into a trainer.
• Level 3 teaching qualification (or willingness to achieve within 12 months).
• Full UK driving licence.
