Plasterer – Full‑time permanent role in Leeds

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dependable plasterer to join our permanent team in Leeds. The role is full‑time (42.5 hours per week, 8‑5 Monday‑Friday) and focuses on responsive repairs and voids contracts within occupied social housing.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out plastering repairs in occupied properties, including patch repairs after leaks, electrical work or other trades.
• Prepare surfaces and apply plaster, bonding, boarding, rendering and skimming.
• Repair damaged walls and ceilings, perform full re‑plastering and apply wall skims where required.
• Make good around door frames, windows, sockets and pipework.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area, protecting residents’ belongings and flooring.
• Record job details, materials used and completion notes using handheld devices or job sheets.
• Participate in the out‑of‑hours emergency rota when required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in domestic plastering repairs and maintenance.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent customer service experience in occupied homes.
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations and safe working practices.

Required skills

• Plastering and patch repair techniques.
• Wall skimming and ceiling plastering.
• Surface preparation and mixing plaster.
• Use of handheld devices for job recording.
