Plasterer – Mobile Role in Southampton

About the role

We are looking for a skilled plasterer who wants long‑term stability and the freedom of a mobile position. You will join a dedicated social‑housing repairs and maintenance team covering the Eastleigh area, working on an ongoing contract with all essential tools provided, including a company van and fuel card.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out internal plastering repairs such as skimming, patching and full wall/ceiling finishes.
• Perform damp and mould remedial works where required.
• Deliver high‑quality work in occupied homes.
• Manage your own stock and materials using the provided van and fuel card.
• Use a PDA or mobile device to receive jobs and update status in real‑time.

Required profile

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plastering (or equivalent time‑served experience).
• Full UK driving licence (required to operate the company van).
• Asbestos awareness.
• Experience in social housing or reactive maintenance.
• Own tools preferred.
• Excellent customer‑service skills for direct tenant interaction.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
