Platform Administrator

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing financial services business as a Platform Administrator. You will work closely with the Platform Manager to ensure smooth operation, governance, and development of the company’s investment platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Support platform migrations and onboarding of new client assets.
• Respond to queries from advisers, paraplanners and administrators.
• Manage issues, escalations and development requests with platform relationship managers.
• Handle complex submissions such as trusts, corporate accounts, bonds and deceased cases.
• Create and amend investment models, process manual trades and fund conversions.
• Produce platform reports and validate data accuracy.
• Submit asset and fund availability requests and assist with complaints handling.
• Maintain up‑to‑date platform documentation and manage staff access permissions.
• Coordinate platform maintenance, AML and bank verification queries, and liaise with third‑party providers.
• Support ad‑hoc projects and platform development initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience within the IFA market and working with provider platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and prioritize workloads independently.
• Confidence in identifying and escalating issues appropriately.
• Strong organisational skills.
