Platform Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Platform Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team responsible for the cloud platform that powers a market‑leading SaaS product. You will work on a production environment built on AWS and Kubernetes, helping to modernise infrastructure, improve reliability, and support the company’s rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
• Operate and enhance production Kubernetes clusters.
• Support platform reliability, performance, and security.
• Investigate production incidents and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Lead end‑to‑end infrastructure projects from design through delivery.
• Collaborate with software engineers to enable new features and platform improvements.
• Contribute to the modernisation of an established cloud platform.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation with the infrastructure team.

Required profile

• Proven experience working with production cloud platforms.
• Strong collaborative mindset and ability to share ideas with senior engineers.
• Confidence to lead infrastructure projects and make technical decisions.
• Willingness to participate in on‑call duties.
