Platform Engineer

About the role

Sensor Tower is seeking a Platform Engineer to enhance the infrastructure, developer tooling, and delivery workflows used by over 100 engineers. The role blends infrastructure work with software development, focusing on cloud infrastructure, automation, observability, and CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Improve developer experience by building tools and workflows that simplify development, testing, and shipping.
• Maintain and evolve infrastructure automation using Ansible, Terraform, and Terragrunt.
• Enhance reliability and performance of CI/CD pipelines, diagnosing slow builds, failed pipelines, and flaky tests.
• Develop internal tools, improve test infrastructure, and occasionally contribute to product features.
• Increase observability across infrastructure and delivery workflows using OpenTelemetry and the ELK stack.

Required profile

• Experience designing, building, and maintaining complex CI/CD workflows.
• Software development background, including building internal tools, APIs, or automation scripts.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS or another major cloud provider.
• Familiarity with telemetry and monitoring tools such as OpenTelemetry, Grafana, or Kibana.
