Platform Operations Engineer

About the role

Eckoh is seeking a Platform Operations Engineer to join its 24/7 Platform Operations team. You will be responsible for the performance, stability and resilience of AWS‑hosted SaaS and voice platforms in a regulated environment, providing end‑to‑end incident management and service ownership.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary operational contact for frontline triage of AWS‑hosted SaaS and voice platforms.
• Proactively monitor platform health, alerts and dashboards, assess business impact and prioritise incidents against SLA commitments.
• Manage tickets throughout their lifecycle using Atlassian Jira Service Management, ensuring accurate categorisation, documentation and escalation.
• Diagnose issues across cloud infrastructure, networking, security and telecom/VoIP services.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Network, Security and Development teams to drive timely resolution.
• Provide clear, professional communication to clients and internal stakeholders during incidents.

• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret technical signals quickly.
• Calm, customer‑focused communicator who can translate technical issues into clear updates.
• Experience working in a 24/7 operational environment with on‑call rotation.
