Plumber – Full‑time, £35,913 per year

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Plumber to join our team on a full‑time basis in Southampton. You will be the first point of contact for service calls, diagnosing issues and delivering reliable repairs to keep customers’ plumbing systems running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to service calls and provide efficient plumbing repairs.
• Diagnose the root cause of plumbing problems and determine the best solution.
• Carry out a wide range of repairs, including fixing broken pipes, leaky faucets and faulty water heaters.
• Perform routine maintenance checks to prevent future issues.
• Communicate clearly with customers, explaining problems and presenting options.
• Maintain accurate records of time, materials used and issue detailed invoices.
• Keep the work area clean and ensure tools and equipment are well maintained.

Required profile

• NVQ, C&G or equivalent qualification.
• Relevant plumbing certification or licence.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Repairs Plumber or in a similar role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer‑service orientation.
• Good organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence and eligibility to work in the UK.
