Plumber Multi Trader – Social Housing Repairs

About the role

Join a leading social housing contractor as a Plumber Multi Trader, delivering reactive maintenance across East London and Essex. You will work on occupied residential properties, providing high‑quality repairs and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out reactive plumbing repairs and maintenance in social housing units.
• Diagnose faults and aim for first‑time fixes.
• Perform additional trades such as basic carpentry, tiling, patch plastering, painting and decorating.
• Complete work safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Provide excellent customer service while working in residents' homes.
• Accurately record job details using a PDA or mobile device.
• Manage your own diary to meet agreed timescales.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Plumber Multi Trader in social housing, domestic maintenance or reactive repairs.
• Strong plumbing background with ability to carry out a range of multi‑trade tasks.
• Experience working in occupied residential properties.
• Professional, reliable and customer‑focused attitude.
• Full UK driving licence.
