About the role
We are seeking a multi‑trade plumber for a contract role in Portsmouth, delivering reactive repairs across the local area. The position involves a mix of plumbing, carpentry, tiling and decorating tasks, supporting building maintenance and refurbishment projects.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out plumbing, carpentry, tiling, patch repairs and decorating work as required.
- Isolate and remove existing domestic bathrooms, strip tiles, patch plaster and widen doorways.
- Fit door linings, hang or re‑hang doors, and install level‑access shower trays on concrete or timber floors, including joist nogging.
- Install baths, pumps (training provided), first and second fix WC, shower units, WHB, screens and disabled grab rails.
Required profile
- Ability to perform at least two additional trades to an excellent standard (e.g., carpentry, flooring, tiling, decorating).
- Good knowledge of building materials and maintenance methods.
- Full, current driving licence.
- Experience working in building maintenance.
