Plumber – Public Sector Role in Edinburgh

About the role

We are looking for a skilled plumber to join a public‑sector team in Edinburgh. This temporary‑to‑permanent position offers competitive hourly pay, excellent working conditions and the chance to move into a long‑term role. Key responsibilities

• Fit and install bathrooms, ensuring all fixtures are correctly positioned and sealed.
• Carry out general plumbing maintenance and repairs across public‑sector facilities.
• Install and repair pipework, guaranteeing leak‑free connections.
• Perform fault finding and reactive plumbing tasks promptly and safely.
• Maintain a safe and tidy work environment at all times.

Required profile

• SVQ/NVQ Level qualification in plumbing, recognised by the industry.
• Previous experience in a similar plumbing role, preferably within the public sector.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
