Plumbing Tutor – Level 3 & Gas Training

About the role

We are seeking an experienced plumber or plumbing & heating engineer to join our training centre in Orpington as a Plumbing Tutor. You will deliver Level 3 plumbing and Core Domestic Gas courses to apprentices and adult learners, helping shape the next generation of trade professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom theory and practical workshop sessions for Plumbing Level 3 and Core Domestic Gas.
• Assess learner progress, provide coaching, and give constructive feedback.
• Prepare engaging lesson plans and training materials aligned with awarding body standards.
• Support apprentices and adult learners throughout their programmes.
• Ensure all training complies with industry regulations and health & safety requirements.

Required profile

• Background as a Plumber, Plumbing & Heating Engineer, or Domestic Gas Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and core domestic gas.
• Excellent communication and coaching abilities.
• No prior teaching qualification required – full training and a funded teaching qualification will be provided.
