PMO Officer (SC Cleared) – Hybrid – Inside IR35

About the role

The client, a large finance house, is seeking an SC‑cleared PMO Officer to join their project team on a hybrid basis (2‑3 days onsite). The role is inside IR35 and will support and enhance PMO services to drive delivery of key objectives and future strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage RAID logs for projects and programmes.
• Monitor and report on project performance, analysing data and challenging where appropriate.
• Identify and track key performance indicators, including capacity and capability constraints.
• Manage budgets and produce financial forecasts.
• Arrange and facilitate board meetings, prepare materials, and follow up on actions.
• Ensure adherence to governance processes and coordinate change control.

Required profile

• Proven experience producing high‑quality documentation, briefing papers, reports and presentations.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret complex data and provide recommendations.
• Ability to constructively challenge whilst maintaining excellent working relationships.
• Excellent proficiency with MS Office, particularly Microsoft Project and Excel.
