About the role
Join the Metropolitan Police as a Police Constable through a two‑year entry programme, working in a London borough team, responding to crime, supporting communities and protecting Londoners.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to emergencies and support victims of crime.
- Investigate offences, gather evidence and build case files.
- Assist in tackling organised crime, drugs and gangs.
- Present evidence in court and work shifts across the week.
Required profile
- Minimum GCSE English Grade 4/C and 2 A‑levels or equivalent Level 3 qualification.
- Age 18 – 57, UK residency for three years, and meet fitness, health and vetting standards.
Required skills
- Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Good communication and decision‑making under pressure.

- Starting salary £43,689 (including allowances) with annual increases up to £62,094.
