Portfolio Manager – Structured Portfolio Solutions

About the role

The Structured Portfolio Solutions team of a global specialty insurer is expanding in London. This hybrid role focuses on commercial actuarial pricing for specialty cases across delegated and structured portfolio business, offering direct exposure to underwriting strategy and broker interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Price specialty cases across delegated and structured portfolio business.
• Support underwriting strategy and manage portfolio performance.
• Analyse portfolio exposure, pricing adequacy and business mix.
• Collaborate with underwriters, brokers and coverholders on new opportunities and renewals.
• Develop pricing tools, dashboards and portfolio analytics capabilities.
• Optimise and monitor structured portfolio solutions.

Required profile

• Experience in GI pricing, specialty pricing or London market actuarial roles.
• Exposure to case pricing, delegated authority, facilities or portfolio business.
• Strong analytical and commercial mindset.
• Comfortable working closely with underwriting teams and external stakeholders.
• FIA qualified or near‑qualified candidates considered.
