Portfolio Pricing Actuary

About the role

The Portfolio Pricing Actuary will partner closely with senior underwriting heads and line‑of‑business actuaries to influence pricing decisions across the portfolio. This dynamic position blends portfolio analysis with case‑level pricing, requiring deep knowledge of the London market pricing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with underwriting leadership to develop and refine pricing strategies.
• Perform portfolio‑wide analysis to identify trends, profitability drivers, and risk exposures.
• Price individual cases, ensuring alignment with market standards and company objectives.
• Provide actuarial insight to support underwriting decisions and product development.
• Maintain strong relationships with business partners to facilitate effective communication of pricing outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in actuarial pricing within the London insurance market.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
