Post Completion Lead – Residential Conveyancing

About the role

We are seeking a Post Completion Lead to join our growing residential conveyancing team on the Wirral. This is the firm’s first dedicated post‑completion position, offering the chance to shape and own the process from completion through to file closure.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all post‑completion matters from completion to file closure.
• Submit applications to the Land Registry and handle any requisitions.
• Prepare and lodge SDLT returns.
• Ensure lender requirements are met after completion.
• Maintain accurate records in the case management system.
• Liaise with fee earners, clients, lenders and third parties.
• Monitor outstanding applications and meet deadlines.
• Assist in developing and improving post‑completion processes.
• Support the growth and structure of the post‑completion function.

Required profile

• Previous experience in post‑completion, conveyancing assistance or residential property support.
• Good understanding of the post‑completion process.
• Experience submitting SDLT returns and Land Registry applications.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise workload.
• Excellent communication skills and comfort in a fast‑paced environment.
