About the role
We are looking for a detail‑oriented Post Exchange / Completions Paralegal to join a busy conveyancing team in Farnham. The role focuses on managing residential conveyancing files from exchange through to post‑completion and closure, working closely with the Head of Department and a Senior Fee Earner.
Key responsibilities
- Manage conveyancing files from exchange to closure
- Submit Certificates of Title and respond to title requisitions
- Prepare completion statements and financial accounts
- Organise and execute transaction completions
- Handle notices to complete and arrange indemnity policies
- Submit Stamp Duty Land Tax returns and AP1 applications to the Land Registry
- Respond to Land Registry requisitions and clear residual balances
- Ensure accurate financial reconciliation and pass completed files to archiving
Required profile
- Previous experience in conveyancing or legal support, preferably post‑exchange
- Strong understanding of the conveyancing process and documentation
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Ability to manage a busy caseload and meet deadlines
- Confident communicator with a client‑focused approach
