About the role
We are looking for a reliable Postal Cleaning Operative to join the team at a busy Royal Mail facility in Exeter. You will help maintain a clean, safe and hygienic environment for staff and operations.
Key responsibilities
- Clean operational areas including sorting floors, staff rest areas, toilets and offices.
- Maintain high cleanliness standards in high‑traffic environments.
- Follow COSHH and Health & Safety procedures at all times.
- Complete routine cleaning checklists and report any site needs.
- Work both as part of a cleaning team and independently across large areas.
Required profile
- Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential – training will be provided.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow cleaning schedules and instructions.
- Reliability and good time‑keeping.
Required skills
What we offer
- Monday‑Friday shift, 12:00 pm – 7:30 pm.
- Hourly rate of £12.71.
- Fixed‑term assignment of 4 weeks, start date ASAP.
