About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Postal Delivery Driver at the Avonmouth Delivery Office. This fixed‑term position involves delivering mail and parcels to homes and businesses across the local community, working a rotating schedule of shifts from Monday to Sunday.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver mail and parcels to residential and commercial addresses following assigned routes.
• Maintain delivery schedules and ensure timely, accurate deliveries.
• Walk for extended periods and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Provide courteous customer service and represent Royal Mail positively in the community.
• Comply with health, safety and traffic regulations while operating a vehicle.

Required profile

• Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
• Organised, punctual and committed to excellent customer service.
• Enjoy walking long distances and working outdoors in any weather.
• Strong sense of community and pride in the role.
• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
