Postal Delivery Driver – Full/Part Time

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Postal Delivery Driver in Wallingford, delivering letters and parcels to your local community. You will work on a rotating shift schedule, including weekends, and become the friendly face of the service.

Key responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot throughout the assigned area.
• Build relationships with customers and provide excellent service.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Handle a variety of items such as exam results, birthday cards, and business orders.

Required profile

• Full manual UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points) registered to your name and address.
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit – able to walk up to 12 miles, climb stairs/hills and lift 10 kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong organisational skills and resilience in a busy environment.
