Postal Delivery Driver (Part‑time) – Liverpool

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a part‑time Postal Delivery Driver in Liverpool. You will be the friendly face delivering letters, parcels and important items to homes and businesses, working a rotating shift schedule that includes weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the Liverpool South East Delivery Office.
• Deliver mail by van and on foot across your assigned route.
• Build positive relationships with customers and represent the Royal Mail brand.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions, handling up to 12 miles of walking per shift.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and follow health‑and‑safety procedures.

Required profile

• Full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points) registered to your current name and address.
• Physically fit to walk long distances, climb stairs or hills, and lift/carry mailbags of 10 kg or more.
• Reliable, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong organisational skills and resilience in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Ability to safely operate a Royal Mail van and pass a driving assessment.
