Postperson (Delivery Driver) – Full/Part Time

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Postperson with driving responsibilities, delivering mail and parcels to homes and businesses in Dartford and surrounding areas. This permanent role offers both full‑time and part‑time options, with flexible hours and occasional Sunday shifts on a rotating basis.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver mail and parcels to residential and commercial addresses within the assigned route.
• Operate a company vehicle safely, complying with traffic laws and Royal Mail policies.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and handle customer enquiries professionally.
• Work flexible hours, including a three‑week rotation of Sunday shifts between 11:00 and 19:20.

Required profile

• Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
• Organised, punctual and committed to excellent customer service.
• Comfortable walking for long periods and working outdoors in any weather.
• Strong sense of community and pride in the role.

Required skills

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
