About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Postperson with Driving in Wokingham, delivering letters, parcels and online orders to local households and businesses. This part‑time, permanent position offers a flexible schedule across the week, including occasional weekend rota work.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, sort and deliver mail and parcels on assigned routes.
• Ensure timely delivery while adhering to health and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and handle customer enquiries professionally.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and walk long distances.
• Follow a rota that may include weekends and varied daily start times.

Required profile

• Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
• Organised, punctual and committed to excellent customer service.
• Friendly, community‑focused and able to work well with the public.
• Comfortable walking for extended periods and working outdoors.
• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points.

Required skills

• Full UK manual driving licence (max 6 penalty points).
