Postperson (Delivery Driver) – Redhill

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Postperson in Redhill, delivering letters and parcels to your local community. You will work a rotating shift schedule, including weekends, and represent the trusted face of the service.

Key responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the Redhill Delivery Office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot across assigned routes.
• Build relationships with customers and deliver a wide range of items, from letters to parcels.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and handle high‑volume, time‑pressured days.

Required profile

• Full manual UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points) registered to your name and address.
• Ability to pass a driving assessment and drive a Royal Mail van daily.
• Physically fit – able to walk up to 12 miles, climb stairs/hills and lift/carry 10 kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
