Postperson (Postal Delivery Driver) – Haverhill

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Postperson in Haverhill, delivering letters and parcels to your local community. You will work a rotating shift schedule, including weekends, and represent the trusted face of our service.

Key responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the Haverhill Delivery Office.
• Deliver mail by van and on foot across assigned routes.
• Build relationships with customers and provide excellent service.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions, handling high volumes during peak periods.

Required profile

• Full manual UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points) and ability to pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit – able to walk up to 12 miles per day and lift 10 kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong organisational skills and resilience in a fast‑paced environment.
