Postperson with Driving – Dorking

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Postperson with Driving in Dorking, delivering mail and parcels to your local community. You will work a flexible 37‑hour week, covering Monday to Sunday, and help keep the nation connected regardless of weather.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, sort and deliver mail and parcels to residential and business addresses.
• Drive a company vehicle safely, adhering to all road regulations and Royal Mail policies.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and complete paperwork as required.
• Provide friendly, courteous service to customers and represent the brand positively.
• Work on a rota that may include Sundays and varied shift times between 07:00 and 19:00.

Required profile

• Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
• Organised, punctual and committed to excellent customer service.
• Comfortable walking long periods and working outdoors in any weather.
• Strong sense of community and pride in the role.
• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points.

Required skills

• Valid full UK manual driving licence (≤6 penalty points).
