Postperson with Driving – Part‑time Fixed‑term

About the role

Royal Mail is seeking a part‑time Postperson with Driving for a six‑month fixed‑term contract. You will work 30 hours per week across Monday to Saturday, with occasional Sunday shifts, delivering mail and parcels in the Bristol area.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, sort and deliver mail and parcels to residential and business addresses.
• Drive a Royal Mail vehicle safely and responsibly.
• Walk long distances and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Provide friendly, reliable customer service to the local community.
• Follow rota schedules, including weekend shifts as required.

Required profile

• Upbeat, independent and self‑motivated.
• Organised, punctual and committed to excellent customer service.
• Enjoy interacting with people and have a strong sense of community.
• Comfortable walking for extended periods and working outdoors in any weather.
• Hold a full UK manual driving licence with no more than six penalty points.
