Postperson with Driving (Part‑time Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Join Royal Mail as a Postperson with Driving, delivering letters and parcels across Folkestone on a rotating shift schedule. This part‑time, fixed‑term position offers a dynamic, outdoor work environment where you interact directly with the community.

Key responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the Folkestone delivery office
• Deliver post by van and on foot throughout the local area
• Build relationships with customers and represent the Royal Mail brand
• Work in all weather conditions and handle high volumes during peak periods

Required profile

• Full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points, registered to your current name and address)
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment
• Physically fit for walking up to 12 miles and lifting/ carrying 10 kg+ mailbags
• Reliable, self‑motivated and able to work independently
