Powder Coater – Chester (Temp to Perm)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Powder Coater to join a fast‑growing engineering and manufacturing business in Chester. The role is full‑time, operating on a 06:30‑15:00 schedule Monday‑Thursday and 06:30‑14:00 on Friday, initially on a 14‑week temporary contract with the potential to become permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor powder coating equipment according to job specifications.
• Load and unload components, ensuring correct placement for coating.
• Run industrial powder coating ovens to cure coated items.
• Perform post‑coating inspections to verify finish quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe workshop environment and follow health‑and‑safety procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Powder Coater in a workshop setting.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and health‑and‑safety guidelines.
• Reliability to work the specified shift pattern and commute from the surrounding area.

Required skills

• Operation of powder coating equipment.
• Use of industrial powder coating ovens.
• Inspection of coated products for quality compliance.
