Power BI Analyst – 12‑month Hybrid Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Power BI Analyst to design, develop and maintain high‑quality reporting solutions for an Energy client. The role involves working with multiple data sources to deliver accurate, standardised dashboards and KPI scorecards that support business decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards using data from SQL databases, dataflows, SharePoint and other sources.
• Build and maintain robust data models to enable scalable and efficient reporting.
• Manage and maintain KPI scorecards, ensuring alignment across business levels.
• Ensure reports are standardised, consistent and adhere to design and data‑quality principles.
• Monitor existing reports, resolve issues and implement enhancements.
• Contribute to the development of reporting frameworks and best‑practice standards.
• Maintain data accuracy, integrity and performance across all reporting solutions.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Power BI, including report development, DAX and data modelling.
• Proven ability to create clear, user‑friendly dashboards and visualisations.
• Experience working with multiple data sources such as SQL, dataflows, Excel, APIs and SharePoint.
• Good understanding of data transformation and ETL processes.
• Experience managing KPI frameworks or scorecards (desirable).
