Power BI Developer (Contract)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer to join an established digital marketing and analytics consultancy. You will work within a collaborative analytics team delivering a large‑scale marketing attribution programme for a major enterprise client, creating reporting solutions that senior stakeholders rely on.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and define reporting requirements with senior business stakeholders.
• Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Build robust data models using DAX and Power Query.
• Connect Power BI to cloud‑based platforms, primarily Google BigQuery.
• Work alongside data engineering teams to ensure reporting needs are met.
• Deliver actionable insights that support business decision‑making.
• Produce clear documentation for knowledge transfer and future handover.
• Collaborate with UK‑based and international teams.

Required profile

• Strong Power BI development experience.
• Advanced DAX, Power Query and data‑modelling skills.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as GCP and BigQuery.
• Proven stakeholder management and requirements‑gathering ability.
• Ability to translate data into clear business insights.
• Experience working within cross‑functional delivery teams.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
