Power Platform Specialist

About the role

Our client is a well‑established, customer‑focused organisation with a national distribution network. The Business Systems Specialist will develop and maintain a critical Retail Power App, integrating it with Microsoft Business Central and other platforms to drive automation and operational improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Microsoft Power Apps and the wider Power Platform.
• Design and deliver APIs, interfaces and system integrations between Power Apps, Business Central and third‑party services.
• Translate business requirements and scoping documents into technical specifications and solutions.
• Identify and deliver process optimisation, workflow improvement and automation opportunities.
• Support production, test and development environments and investigate complex application issues.
• Maintain data integrity, application security and technical documentation.

Required profile

• At least five years’ hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Platform services.
• Proven experience integrating Power Apps with Microsoft Business Central and third‑party systems.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, interfaces and system integration principles.
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Customer‑focused, commercially aware and able to manage competing priorities.
