PPA Cover Teacher – Full‑Time (Temporary) – Broxbourne

About the role

This temporary full‑time position supports a primary school in Broxbourne by delivering high‑quality cover during teachers' PPA time. You will work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, ensuring lessons remain engaging and well‑structured.

Key responsibilities

• Teach across a range of year groups, following established lesson plans.
• Use creativity and expertise to bring learning to life.
• Collaborate closely with class teachers and senior leaders to keep pupils motivated and challenged.
• Maintain continuity of learning, support achievement and contribute to the wider life of the school.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Recent experience teaching in UK primary schools.
• Confidence teaching across different year groups.
• Ability to create positive, purposeful learning environments.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• Enjoys working in a collaborative, supportive staff team.
• Genuine passion for helping children succeed.
