PPA Cover Teacher (Key Stage 2)

About the role

Veritas Education is recruiting a full‑time PPA Cover Teacher for a well‑established primary school in Clitheroe, Lancashire. The role starts in September 2026 on a fixed‑term contract and involves delivering high‑quality lessons across Key Stage 2 while providing continuity of learning.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for multiple year groups within Key Stage 2.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet the diverse needs of learners.
• Maintain excellent classroom management and high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
• Build positive relationships quickly with pupils and staff.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless continuity of learning.
• Organise resources and manage a flexible timetable across different classes.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with experience teaching Key Stage 2.
• Confident in delivering high‑quality lessons and managing varied classroom environments.
• Flexible, enthusiastic and able to establish a positive classroom atmosphere swiftly.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work across multiple year groups.
