PPA Teacher – Flexible Primary School Cover

About the role

Protocol Education is seeking qualified Primary Teachers to provide PPA (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) cover in primary schools across Bristol and South Gloucestershire. The role offers flexible, on‑site teaching assignments that can be as little as one day a week or full‑time, depending on your availability.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver PPA cover lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and policies.
• Prepare and assess student work, ensuring continuity of learning.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance and progress.
• Collaborate with school staff to support pupil wellbeing and achievement.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualifications and experience in primary education.
• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one) and references covering the last 24 months.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Ability to commit to the agreed schedule via the Protocol Education app.
