About the role
We are seeking an interim Practice Accountant for a small, friendly accountancy practice located near Ferndown. The role starts immediately, with full‑time hours preferred and some flexibility available.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and submit personal tax returns for clients.
- Compile and file company accounts.
- Process VAT returns.
- Deal with and liaise directly with clients on accounting matters.
Required profile
- Part‑qualified or fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- Previous experience working in an accountancy practice.
- Good knowledge of UK accounting and tax regulations.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Xero, Sage or QuickBooks (or similar accounting software).
What we offer
- Hourly rate of £20‑£25 (depending on experience).
- Initial three‑month assignment with potential for permanent placement.
- Office‑based environment with a supportive team.
