Practice Manager (ACA) – Equity Potential – Ringwood

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Practice Manager (ACA/ACCA) to join a boutique chartered accountancy firm in Ringwood. You will work closely with the Managing Director while managing your own portfolio of audit, compliance and advisory clients, and overseeing trainees and a bookkeeper. The role also offers the opportunity to acquire equity in the firm.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of audit, compliance and advisory engagements.
• Supervise and develop junior staff, including trainees and a bookkeeper.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high‑quality service delivery.
• Collaborate with the Managing Director on business development and strategic initiatives.
• Contribute to the firm’s growth and profitability, potentially through equity participation.

Required profile

• ACA or ACCA qualified with 2‑3 years post‑qualification experience.
• Recent audit experience and strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Excellent client‑facing skills; client service is paramount.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior team members.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Sage accounting software.
• Experience using Xero.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks.
