Practice Pharmacist – Primary Care (North East Fife)

About the role
The NHS Fife Primary Care Pharmacy Team is seeking a motivated Practice Pharmacist to join its North East Fife service. You will work closely with GP practices to deliver high‑impact pharmaceutical care, including medication reviews, prescribing support and independent prescribing.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct structured medication and polypharmacy reviews in GP practices.
- Provide medicines reconciliation, acute and repeat prescribing support.
- Deliver independent prescribing as part of the service.
- Offer specialist medicines advice to clinicians and patients.
- Participate in quality‑improvement projects, audits and service development.
- Collaborate across primary care and community pharmacy interfaces.
Required profile
- Qualified pharmacist with registration to practise in the UK.
- Clinical competence and enthusiasm for primary‑care pharmacy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to patient‑centred, evidence‑based care.
Required skills
- Independent prescribing.
