About the role
We are seeking a diligent Practice Team Assistant to join a leading law firm in London. The role provides comprehensive administrative support to partners, lawyers and the wider PA team in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality administrative support to partners, lawyers and the PA team.
- Prepare, print, scan and organise legal documentation, court bundles and working papers.
- Maintain electronic and hard‑copy filing systems.
- Assist with billing administration, pre‑bills, eBilling and related financial processes.
- Process expense claims, cheque requisitions and banking administration.
- Support new client and matter opening, including conflict and AML checks.
- Coordinate meetings, conference rooms, client events and travel bookings.
- Update client databases and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare files for archiving and retrieval.
- Respond professionally to telephone enquiries and general office requests.
Required profile
- Enthusiastic, organised and proactive.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
- Motivation to develop a career within a leading law firm.
