Pre-School Manager – Billericay

About the role

The Pre‑School Manager will lead a well‑established pre‑school in Billericay that operates around a strong forest‑school ethos. This is a permanent, term‑time‑only position working 8:00 am–4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with the option to take additional hours during school holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the daily operation of the pre‑school, ensuring high standards of care and education.
• Manage, motivate and develop a team of Early Years practitioners.
• Promote a culture of excellence, safeguarding and continuous improvement.
• Oversee planning and delivery of the curriculum, including forest‑school and Montessori activities.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and health‑and‑safety regulations.
• Maintain a welcoming environment for children, families and staff.
