Precision Sewing Technician – Various Shifts

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Precision Sewing Technician to join a specialised team in a clean‑room environment, producing transcatheter heart valves. The role is based in Leeds and offers a choice of morning or afternoon shifts, Monday‑to‑Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Operate needles, scissors, forceps, microscopes and specialised tooling to sew and assemble heart valve components.
• Perform quality checks on own work and that of colleagues against specifications and GMP standards.
• Record manufacturing data accurately in device history records.
• Follow work instructions, GMP, health‑safety, environmental and clean‑room procedures.
• Support broader manufacturing and operational activities as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in sewing, crafts, embroidery or other high‑dexterity work.
• Strong hand‑eye coordination and ability to use small hand tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Basic computer literacy.

Required skills

• Manual dexterity for precision sewing tasks.
