About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Premises Assistant to support the day‑to‑day operation of an Ofsted "Good" primary school in West London. The role involves a mix of general caretaker duties and ensuring the school environment remains safe and well‑maintained throughout the academic year.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform routine caretaker tasks across the school premises.
  • Report any issues or maintenance needs to the Premises Manager.
  • Assist with setting up classrooms and common areas for daily use.
  • Maintain health, safety and safeguarding standards on site.

Required profile

  • Minimum 1 year experience in school premises or caretaker work within the UK.
  • Up‑to‑date safeguarding training completed within the last year.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one) and registration with the online update service.
  • Two professional child‑related references covering the last two years.
