Premises Assistant – School Facilities Caretaker

About the role

The school is seeking a dedicated Premises Assistant to support the smooth running of its facilities. This temporary, full‑time position offers a varied, hands‑on role within a supportive, multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with day‑to‑day management of school premises.
• Help maintain a safe and positive environment for pupils and staff.
• Support the facilities team across the Multi‑Academy Trust.

Required profile

• Experience in a similar premises, caretaking or facilities role.
• Highly skilled, practical and proactive.
• Calm, positive, flexible and able to set high personal standards.
• Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal abilities.
• Team‑player who is resilient, reliable and committed to pupil safety.
