Premium Processing Team Leader

About the role

Provide leadership and direction for the Premium Processing team, ensuring the effective delivery of operational activities, service excellence and the consistent attainment of SLAs, KPIs and quality standards. Partner with the Premium Processing Manager to shape strategic direction and drive continuous improvement across the function.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and lead the performance and daily running of the Premium Processing team, ensuring the right knowledge, skills and cultural fit.
• Deliver services to agreed SLAs and KPIs while monitoring productivity and progress of work.
• Build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Front Office, Business Unit leaders and regulators.
• Support and embed operational and strategic change into team processes, structures and ways of working.
• Work on Premium Processing projects such as transformations, acquisitions, MI improvements and system enhancements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in commercial insurance and insurance broking, with at least 5 years in a premium processing team.
• Strong understanding of London Market specialty insurance and at least one complex line of business (e.g., Aviation, Energy, Marine).
• Proven leadership experience of 3+ years, capable of motivating staff and driving results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
