Prepress Operator – Digital Imaging & Retouching Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous Prepress Operator with a strong focus on digital imaging and professional photo retouching. The role involves handling large volumes of high‑resolution images, ensuring colour accuracy and visual consistency for commercial, creative and print projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced image retouching, colour correction and photo enhancement using Adobe Photoshop.
• Maintain consistency and quality while processing high volumes of images.
• Remove imperfections, unwanted elements and perform detailed image clean‑up.
• Create masks, clipping paths, composites and other advanced Photoshop techniques.
• Update Adobe InDesign layouts with retouched images as required.
• Conduct quality control checks and self‑QC all retouched files before submission.
• Collaborate with creative, production and pre‑press teams to meet project specifications.

Required profile

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop with professional retouching experience.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong visual eye for colour and image quality.
• Ability to manage high‑volume workloads under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities in a fast‑paced production environment.
