Pre‑Sales Engineer – Solution Engineer (Hybrid)

About the role

The company specialises in fire safety products and systems and is seeking a customer‑focused Solution Engineer to support sales activities across the UK and international markets, including the Middle East and Europe. The role sits within the Sales team and acts as the key technical liaison between customers and the business. You will present solutions, support customer engagement and help drive successful sales outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical insights and product knowledge to the sales team during customer engagements.
• Deliver product presentations, demonstrations and technical briefings to customers.
• Analyse customer requirements and propose suitable fire‑safety solutions.
• Offer technical guidance, respond to enquiries and support issue resolution.
• Visit customer sites when needed to investigate technical or application issues and recommend practical solutions.
• Represent the company at exhibitions, trade shows and industry events.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Solution Engineer, Pre‑Sales or Sales Engineer role.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities, able to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Commercial awareness with a willingness to engage directly with customers.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK and internationally.
• Background in engineering or related technical disciplines.
