About the role

We are seeking a Press Brake Operator / Sheet Metal Worker to join our team in Chelmsford. The role involves setting up and operating a press brake, assisting with laser cutting, and performing general sheet‑metal fabrication while adhering to safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate press brake machines to produce precise bends.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Perform quality control checks on fabricated parts.
• Assist with laser cutting, grinding, and assembly tasks as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Required profile

• Experience in press brake operation or related sheet‑metal work preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team and follow safety protocols.
• Good organisational skills and basic mathematical ability for measurements.
