About the role

Join a leading engineering manufacturer in Cheshire as a Press Brake Operator. You will work in a modern production environment supporting projects for construction, power generation and rail sectors, gaining hands‑on experience with advanced press brake equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate Amada and Edward Pearson press brake machines.
• Perform bend and forming operations using standard and custom punches.
• Produce high‑quality components in line with technical drawings.
• Carry out quality checks on finished parts to ensure precision.
• Collaborate with the production team to optimise processes and meet deadlines.
• Maintain a safe, organised work area complying with industry standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience operating press brake machines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
• Detail‑oriented with a commitment to high‑quality output.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and adaptability to changing production needs.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to contribute to continuous improvement.

What we offer

• Competitive salary £30,500‑£37,000 per annum (DOE).
• Overtime paid at time‑and‑a‑half after 48 hours.
• £2,000 new‑starter incentive paid in three installments.

• Shift pattern after training: rotating 6‑2/2‑10, 38 hours/week.
