Press Brake Setter Operator

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Setter Operator to join a leading manufacturing team in Marlow. The role involves setting up, programming and operating a CNC press brake to produce precision‑bent components in line with work orders and technical drawings.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and operate the press brake according to work orders and technical drawings.
• Select, fit and adjust tooling for each job and program CNC press brake when required.
• Interpret fabrication drawings to determine bend sequences, angles and tolerances.
• Check first‑off and in‑process components using appropriate measuring equipment.
• Complete SFR documentation and record Non‑Conformance Reports.
• Maintain COSHH compliance and uphold ISO and company procedures.
• Keep the press brake and surrounding area clean and well maintained.
• Assist with material traceability, general workshop duties and training of new operators.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating a press brake in a workshop environment.
• Familiarity with fabrication machinery such as CNC saws and punches.
• Understanding of quality standards, health & safety and record‑keeping requirements.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret fabrication drawings.

What we offer

• £32,000 per annum salary
• Quarterly/annual bonus of £4‑5k
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Full‑time permanent contract (41 hours per week)
